About this course

UCT APS min 348 (Band C). Guaranteed admission: APS 450+, Mathematics 50%, English 50%, Portfolio 75%+. Portfolio submission required by 31 July — leading indicator for admission; places awarded on merit. NBT written but not used for EBE admission. Design-based degree providing grounding for BAS Honours and the Master of Architecture (MArch Professional). Graduates may register with SACAP as Candidate Architectural Technologists.

Note: Pure Mathematics is required (Mathematical Literacy is not accepted).

UCT APS = English% + best 5 other subjects% (excl. Life Orientation), max 600. Commerce, Engineering, Humanities and Law: FPS = APS. Science FPS doubles Mathematics and Physical Sciences (max 800). Health Sciences FPS adds NBT score (max 900). Min APS values shown are Band C (minimum consideration)
