About this course

UCT APS min 475 (Band C). Guaranteed admission: APS 500+. Mathematics 80%. English HL 60% or FAL 80%. NBT AQL Proficient required. Highly competitive. Actuaries use statistical and mathematical techniques to evaluate uncertain financial risks in insurance, banking, pensions, and investments. Pathway toward the FASSA qualification. Quantitative Finance shares the same foundations with more emphasis on investment banking and derivatives trading.
