23-24 for ECP. Technical Maths(5) accepted. Recommended one of ACC/BUS/ECON/CIVT/EGD/CAT/IT/PS/TS at level 3. Maths Lit + Commerce combo only qualifies for this diploma within Engineering faculty.

How APS is calculated at CPUT

CPUT uses raw subject percentages, not NSC 1–7 levels. Life Orientation is excluded from all methods. Method 1 (most programmes): sum of best 6 subject percentages ÷ 10 (max 60).
