About this course

UCT APS min 470 (Band C, SA redress applicants only). Guaranteed admission: APS 500+, NBT AL Proficient and QL Intermediate. English HL 50% or FAL 60%. NBT AQL required. Highly competitive: applications vastly exceed places. Professional law degree (4-year undergraduate LLB) accredited by the Legal Practice Council. Combined routes also available: BA/LLB (5 years) or BCom/LLB (5 years). Graduates admitted as attorneys or advocates after LSSA articles or Bar pupillage.

UCT APS = English% + best 5 other subjects% (excl. Life Orientation), max 600. Commerce, Engineering, Humanities and Law: FPS = APS. Science FPS doubles Mathematics and Physical Sciences (max 800). Health Sciences FPS adds NBT score (max 900). Min APS values shown are Band C (minimum consideration)
